Monster Jam hits Nova Scotia

A scorching hot saturday, a four year old son and wife in tow. What to do, what to do. OK, so it wasn’t quite a spur of the moment thing, we booked a couple of weeks ago; Monster Jam came to our neck of the woods and WOW, what a show.

Liam, my son, is an avid Grave Digger fan. He loves the truck, the music (”bad to the bone”) and the drivers. I have to say that I have been to a lot of events in a lot of places but Monster Jam, for me, was one of the most memorable.

We went down to the Pit Road to meet the drivers and gets pictures with the trucks. Liam, of course, was absolutely in his element especially when meeting Randy Brown, one of the drivers on the Grave Digger team.

For only $70 in total, we got to see one heck of a show. Grave Digger, of course, ran away with all three events but did it with some style. To see Liam’s face light up when Digger jumped a trail of cars was awesome.

If you get a chance to go to one of these events, I urge you to take the family (and some ear plugs) and head down for a great 3 hours of all around entertainment. Here’s a picture of Liam with Randy Brown, the driver of Grave digger:
