So, we get a bit of a break this week; we have skybox tickets for the Nova Scotia International Tattoo festival.
Much like its Edinburgh counterpart, the festival is a stream of song, dance, cannons and more. Should be fun.

After a couple of months of being a member of our local Yacht Club, I decided to give sailing a try after a friend of mine, Guy Tipton — an excellent and seasoned sailor, convinced me to take part in a race.

A scorching hot saturday, a four year old son and wife in tow. What to do, what to do. OK, so it wasn’t quite a spur of the moment thing, we booked a couple of weeks ago; Monster Jam came to our neck of the woods and WOW, what a show.
